Optimized Trenchless® was founded with a singular mission: to bring true owner representation and independent, expert-level construction management to the trenchless industry. After decades of experience as contractors, project managers, equipment designers, and consultants, our founders recognized a critical gap in the market.
Too many pipeline owners were overpaying for construction that could be done safer, better, and faster. Too many contractors lacked access to the strategic guidance needed to win more work and operate at peak efficiency. Optimized Trenchless® was created to solve both problems and more.

Lon Briscoe
President
With 45 years of experience in horizontal directional drilling and pipeline construction, Lon is one of the most respected names in the trenchless industry. He co-founded the original "The Crossing Company", and served as President of Direct Horizontal for 12 years which grew to become one of the largest HDD operations in the country, and has overseen thousands of successful bores across virtually every pipeline category.
Jess Briscoe
Vice President & Construction Manager
Jess brings over 40 years of hands-on trenchless construction experience spanning the full evolution of HDD technology. A pioneer in drill rig and equipment design, his field-level expertise in drilling techniques, solids control, and equipment optimization gives the team an unmatched edge in construction oversight and troubleshooting.
Ryan Wallace
Field Superintendent
Ryan has over 24 years of diverse drilling experience across oil and gas drilling, HDD, and Direct Pipe, with both hands-on and management expertise. Specializing in contracts, deliverables, field operations, and cost optimization, he has a proven track record of delivering projects under budget and recovering runaways, consistently helping clients achieve millions in cost reductions while improving safety and reducing environmental impact.
